Programs / Courses

York College Department of Nursing offers three programs a Generic four-year BS program, an RN to BS completion program, and a Master of Science, Nursing Education program. You cannot declare nursing as a major until you have been officially accepted into the program.

Nursing Education (MS)

York College Master’s in Nursing Education program offer a solid liberal arts professionally based educational experience that guides students in attaining the knowledge, skills, and values essential for the role of the professional nurse educator.

Nursing Generic (BS)

The Generic Nursing Program provides all general education and professional coursework to enable a student to earn a baccalaureate degree in Nursing and qualify to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

Nursing RN to BS

The RN-Baccalaureate completion program is exclusively designed for students who are Registered Nurses (RN) (graduates of diploma and associate degree nursing programs) who desire to earn a baccalaureate degree.
